Ooh that looks fun. I got one of those RC plains that was being flown at Teston of ebay for under £15 including p&p so I’ve got the bug. I had my doubts about this paraplane but then I found this video different name but looks identical to me. www.rctoyhouse.com/rc/rc_helicopter_sunchaser.html if it dosn't open you can download it here
I’m tempted but got to many bids going on pirate gear at the moment.
Looks very, very, similar to mine...different packaging and price...paid £180 for mine back in around 1999! As you know my one flys brilliantly and I can see no reason why this one won't...I also put a bid on another one just now and should know by 10pm if its mine. (YEP bought one,..coming in 48 hrs, from Manchester, will keep you posted!)Mine looks virtually identical to the clips ChrisF put on here of one flying don't you think?
Well researched guys!! A lot of BKF have seen mine fly (and crash) and would be interested in this, looks like they have interchangeable frequency 'crystals' in the pics, if so we can fly a few at the same time!

Well I hope your right about the crystals because thats 3 of us now. ;D
I once had a full set of crystals including splits but it all got nicked along with about £800 of other RC gear , but fingers crossed I've still got a fast charger for that battery pack.
Mine arrived this morning, ALMOST the same. Size is the same..canopy & gondola, quality is not quite as good, but good enough...the battery is still 7.2v but now the smaller/lighter AAA size and Nickle MH which is better. The BAD news though is that mine is on 27mhz which could be interesting as CB radio and other cheap RC models operate on that frequency! There are no crystals so you couldn't fly several at once, well you could and it would be something to watch as one transmitter would control them all simultaneously!
What frequency did your ones come with?
I am pleased with it overall, now just have to fly it to see if it performs the same as mine...
Should have checked my old model...it too runs on 27MHz (i assumed it was 35Mhz) but can be altered between frequencies by buying new crystals... Frequencies that are listed.. 1 26.995 2 27.045 3 27.095 4 27.45 5 27.95 6 27.255
You say yours is 27.145 MHz. Mine just says 27MHz on an orange sticker on the Box, transmitter and gondola.....presumably in the same places yours says 27.145mhz? If so then we could fly at the same time maybe?
Be interesting to see what ChrisF says his frequency is, I am charging my battery to check the prop power etc....
Don't forget it has to be quite calm...at Eastbourne the wind picked up just enough to prevent it coming back to me once I flew it downwind, luckily it was still over the field and not the houses if you remember!!

Nice one greenman
Well I got mine today and the orange sticker just had 27MHz on it…. So I dug deeper, I could see the crystal on the receiver but it meant taking the gondola apart, so i figured it was easier to remove the 4 screws from the transmitter, then 2 screws from a small circuit board so I could flip it over to see the crystal, the crystals is soldered in not impossible to change but a bit of a pain,
Anyway my transmitter crystal says 27.455 Mhz Now that puts mine way beyond the normal 6 channels used for 27mhz RC where Chris & Jamie’s comes up as yellow in the 27mhz charts.
Soo at the moment I’d say me and C&J can fly together , but what sort of interference I’ll get at that frequency is anyone’s guess.

Anyone tried it yet?
It was advertised as.....
" 3 channels allowing you to go forward, up/down, left/right"
But as far as I can see it's only 2, I've only tried the radio and i've got left & right and throttle control that I assume would control the up and down as well.

collin i would suggest that you look at it make sure that the canopy is fine, no rust on the shackle's. bridles line are ok and then make sure the risers are fine. but it is also around 15 years old i would say. if its fine then £50 is ok but i wouldnt pay much more.
