HI Bonefish As a general rule i find you are allowed to fly whatever kites you have that other people want to fly. Your will always be a firm favorite and you will be always welcome to fly that. In fact it could be compulsory. It will get Collin of my back anyway. Its no coincidence that my is worn out and his is like new. did we give you a membership form at Brighton

LATEST UPDATE I went to see Simon the Owner of Sumners ponds today the 21st.July and enquired about pricing/discounts. To be fair we (may) be sharing the field with other campers as its used as an overflow to the main site and we will be entitled to all the facilities they are ie: showers/toilets/laundry room/freezer etc. so we will be charged at the going rate as on their website: www.sumnersponds.co.uk to be consistent with everyone. I cant give him exact numbers of who is coming so couldn't really negotiate a group discount or book the whole field either. For future reference if we did not want any facilities it would be cheaper!
I am hoping to be there first on Friday but if I'm not just go onto the 'Rally field' and camp up on the right along the hedge. There is no booking in or fees to be paid on arrival, just turn up an setup camp, if asked just mention you are with BKF. There is more than enough room for everyone so even if you haven't said you are coming, don't worry, just come on down, your more than welcome.
Anyone can turn up on these days to fly kites, and if the camping area is not good enough for our Kites we can drive up and park in the big field up the hill where the is ample room and a portaloo...Simon has even cut the grass there for OUR benefit and is keeping the cows out so there are no 'pats'! He has done a lot to accommodate us and I think we should show him what our club does, as he is quite intrigued! We can also set up a gazebo and BBQ up there, shame we cant camp there but it has not got planning permission. ALL types of kites can be flown up there without getting in each others way!
There are quite a few of us going now so come rain or shine a good time will be had I'm sure. There is a small shop and Pub within walking distance too.
Have I forgotten anything??? Any questions???
Collin

Yes you do, its £6 per rod, and their warden walks round checking, he does not check whether you have the national 'fishing licence' !
I have already booked wind for that weekend but forgot to specify a direction, we will be flying!

Kinda unsure what we’re doing that weekend but am I right in understanding we can come along and fly even if not camping, and if I happened to bring the tent along we could camp if we wanted to?

ABSOLUTLEY CORRECT!
We will be glad to see you, I think there are quite a few more coming but are waiting to see what the weather does, good weather and they will be camping...reasonably good and they will pop in over the weekend. The site is very well run and as such is patrolled regularly by the Warden and also the Owner, they have trusted me to have BKF turn up and camp...and settle the bill as we go when we know whos camping...
