Got an e-mail from them today inviting the club, I have gone back and asked about camping as it is a one day event I will post here when I get a reply as to when, where and if we can camp.
If may not be possible I don't know but who is up for doing it for a day and who is up for doing it if we camp.
Simon

It'a a shame this has been very late in being advertised. We have just booked ourselves into a campsite in Dorset for that weekend. We thought there was nothing going on. We had a great time at Capstone a few years ago. Its a lovely site to fly on. Next time i hope they can give us more notice.
Have fun.
Cheers,
The Greenman Clan.

Copy of section of mail sent to Capstone earlier this week I am still waiting a reply.
As soon as any one hears about camping could they let everyone know.

Traditionally Capstone has never officially been a two day event, the rangers let us camp from Friday in the past giving us a free flying day on the Saturday but as far as the public are concerned the festival has always been Sunday only.
As it appears that Medway Council are the organisers this time rather than the park rangers they might not be aware that camping has been allowed in the past, Kristian one of the rangers normally involved only found out about the festival yesterday morning, but if camping is to be allowed id have thought that decision would be down to the rangers.

" Dear All, Please can you let me know I you wish to come to Capstone Park 6th SEPTEMBER 2009 (we can camp from Friday Night) From: BKF Chairman "
Many of us have received an email, and I post the relevant section of it above.
Yes please, count me in, going on the Friday to set up ready for the event.
Am I making a wrongful assumption that the CLUB has been invited to attend and it is official that we (BKF) can get in on Friday? I am one of several members that intend going on Friday, having read the email, and as its Thursday now nothing has been said to the contrary and I am making plans to leave tomorrow. Can anyone confirm this information is correct? And who else is going?
