OK I have just got of the phone to the council.
We are apparently allowed to arrive from 9.00am Saturday 5th September, Julie (from the council) was originally told the same as last year i.e. Friday through Sunday but the rangers changed their minds and made it Saturday trough to Sunday hence the confusion, she is not sure where the 2.00pm can from and has confirmed 9.00am.
lets hope that now we have spoken it is all OK for people to turn up as discussed.
Simon

Thanks for the prompt update as you promised!
I was all mounted up and ready to leave later this afternoon, awaiting that post! I have put it all on standby now and the 'reduced to clear' food I purchased will all run out of date at midnight tonight!
Can the CLUB feed me at the weekend, please?

So you were going to eat all the food you purchased tonight (greedy ******). What were you intending to eat for the rest of the weekend?

Thanks to everyone who kept us informed about this one while we were away. In the end it was just to far to travel for an overnighter. Hope you all had a weekend.
Cheers,

Hey Greenman......SUCCESS!!!!! Finally got my point across to one of the Rangers, NEXT YEAR, almost certainly, CAMPING will on the main field and from Friday![shadow=red,left,300]After the fight discussion, there was still time for L U V V V E![/shadow] Regards, SvenQUOTE TAKEN FROM A FORUM ELSEWHERE Hi Kristian, We have met some years ago,I am easily recognisable being 6’ 4” blonde, blue eyed Swede ;D I singled out the Rangers to gripe at, ( who have always been accommodating to us camping, indeed joining in and up for a laugh ) because of the above post. Of course we are all there for to enjoy the event, but the stress of planning to attend from my point of view, has had me pulling out my blonde hair! See you at the weekend, I only wished to air my, and others feelings to be read and taken as constructive NOT destructive. Collin PS well done Malcolmf For arranging the 1000 ft clearance, I'll be at 999ft, presumably that is for just the Sunday? After a lot of pre-event kafuffle and griping ( of course I did my share!) it was all put behind us once aired ‘face to face’ at Capstone and the pictures indicate the atmosphere of the event, a good laugh all round. Thanks for joining in Kristian, and the rest of the Rangers…..same time next year? Count me in! ;D
Cheers, Sven PS Just let us know the date and time….

Simon So sorry Sir, I have found the source of the post that you only quoted from, it was not from your hand, and can only apologize and humbly seek your forgiveness! If you are lined up for receiving 'Six of the best' because of it, I would gladly take Three for my error. Unfortunately I returned to Sweden after the event but will catch up with you next year.
Regards from Sweden, Sven
