Excellent photos Bony, it was a banging weekend. Thanks to everyone who came, we managed to raise £62 for Children In Need, we managed to raise hell and a few hair do's lol ;D. It was one of the best weekends we have attended anywhere, beautiful weather, good company and great entertainment as well as Sonias' pakoras which went down a treat, thanks lovey. Keith managed to fly 'The Fury' on Saturday and the kite looked amazing, so a very big and humble thank you to all our friends that contributed and helped towards getting us back on our feet after our caravan was broken into, especially Tony for his kindness and thoughtfulness. Thanks again to everyone who came and made this a special weekend.
Keith, Genie and Fury.

Thanks Colin this weekend certainly went with bang ,what a blast! and what a show of kites in the air on Saturday, the Manta and Teddy looked great against the background of a perfect blue sky and a myraid of smaller kites, not quite as many as Portsmouth but getting there. pity there were no large club kites that would have been a show, maybe another time, all in all what a wonderful weekend bang on in more ways than one thanks again Colin,Sonia for the pakora's Paddy for the scones &Jam Kazz & Martin for chocolate cake, Did'nt we have a loverly day the day we went to Sumners Ponds.

I must admit that, apart from the lousy site, awful weather and rubbish company we had fantastic weekend ;D Thanks Collin, and EVERYONE else who helped make it so. Only thing is, I can't get this link to work picasaweb.google.co.uk/bonefish696/SummersPondsOct08#or find it on picasaweb: is it just me

Sonia for the pakora's Paddy for the scones &Jam Kazz & Martin for chocolate cake, Here here lubin, couldn't agree more! Great venue, great company, great atmosphere and great treats! Including Genies spicy mixed nuts and iced cup cakes.
It was good to see Martins helicopter actually fly more than 6", 4" off the ground!! Well done John, great control and manoevrability as well as flying your own remote control plane.
I'm glad everyone, well, almost everyone managed to get into the group photo towards the end of the weekend.
Thank you Collin for organising the venue, and thank you also Genie for having the brainwave of combining the two events of LUTS and OSOW.
