I am attempting to book the top field at Sumners Ponds for the 4/5/6th July.....will keep you updated once they return my call.
Thanks RHW and Dave M for your suggested dates. The above quote is taken from the Members Area, where it was getting muddled with the post there referring to the next event at the end of August!
CONFIRMED and slightly elongated, we can arrive Thursday 3rd.July and leave on Sunday6th.July.
Its the large top field again, the cows are being removed today so what they leave behind should be virtually non existent by then...All the usual rules of engagement are as before, newcomers see THIS previous post.
See you there, Collin

Is there a list for this of who is definately going ?
What facilities are available apart from the cafe - toilets, showers etc and how far are they from where we are camping ?

COPIED FROM THE MEMBERS AREA Only thing I can see wrong with the 5th and 6th July is that there are bound to be things needed to be done for the festival the weekend before maybe even a fly on hove lawns to publicise the Festival. We normally do this a "race for life" but this year it is a week earlier 28th - 29th June 2008 so we may well want to fly in Stanmner Park over that weekend. I wish you had said something before I started running with the ball, I have never heard of those two plans in previous years? Apologies for the (unforeseen) clash!!
Is there a list for this of who is definitely going ? What facilities are available apart from the cafe - toilets, showers etc and how far are they from where we are camping ?
Apart from what you have mentioned etc. Nothing but a porta loo near us. Everything is within easy walking distance on a fairly secure campsite.
List of members probably coming:

My friend Tamar and children will be coming for the weekend ( many of you have seen her at Brighton and Eastbourne extreme) in her tent.

My friend Tamar and children will be coming ( many of you have seen her at Brighton and Eastbourne extreme) in her tent. It wasnt me, I never looked in her tent!C2lln me ol' mukka How right you are, wish I could be there, but due to having to be elsewhere.... Toodle pip Thats not even a proper excuse fella, obviously you will be 'somewhere' if not here? Do you remember this from the Southampton thread? How COULD I NOT go,just to prove to C2LLN I do attend when poss, home ground for me this one, just looked at Accuweather, THUNDER for Sunday, Oh JOY If a BBQ is on, I'll bring some bits and bobs. Oh do tell. Toodle pip Outsider? Outside chance he will even show up, never bet your BBQ dinner on him! And it didn't rain either.I do appreciate you have problems that are out of your control, I mean it in jest only, mate! I was asked if we should wear BKF regalia at this. Its never been compulsory on the circuit.....but WHY NOT wear it? I do, with the festival coming up, public onlookers, local people etc. WHY NOT advertise our Club with very little effort to do so?

Its a Chill out, who cares if you wear the WRONG garb? ;D ;D KKF is far more apt than 'Addidas' 'Nike' 'Chelsea' 'Wierd Fish' 'FCUK' 'I change every five minutes into another T shirt' 'Red roll neck cardigan' etc. that some BKF members wear???
