I have heard there might be camping there, if there is I will be going.....ANYONE else??
It's the weekend after that other extreme festival in Stamner Park, you know, the one you are forced to 'volunteer' to help with, so you may need a rest!!!

Please note Brighton Kite Flyers and Kent Kite Flyers will be flying on 5 1/2 acre field not the pitch and putt as 1st thought and we have permission to camp there as well:- this is not the main camping area for the event. I am told that we will be able to use the toilet and shower block in the corner of the field on the weekend by the council.

Now there's fighting talk!!
Depends on your idea of extreme....mine is how far back the recliner goes on the camp bed, had some real extreme angles on it, at Brighton it goes well LAID BACK..just the way I like it!!!
EE07 is a first for me and it sure don't look LAID BACK...Didn't realise I was making a comparison though!?

Brighton Kite Festival is one of the leading UK festivals for families and kite flyers alike and offers a great experience where all types of kites are welcome and can be flown. It is a fun packed weekend for flying and hard work for a large percentage of club members who help make it a worth while event.
Eastbourne Extreme has not in the past offered an area where not traction kite flying can be shown or participated in and there for has not really been open to families. This year with Brighton Kite Flyers putting on a show in 5 1/2 acre field there may be more opportunity for the public to fly and find out about other forms of kite flying other than traction. Should be a good event and help promote the sport of kite flying on all levels.
If you had a choice between a sports car and a transit van which would you pick the same question could be asked about which festival you want to go to. Both events are good, both events offer different things, both have different aims, neither is better than the other so lets have fun at both.
