Hi all .. im new to your forum so firstly just want to say hi .. im a stunt kiter .. I have 2 cherry bombs, an easy 2 and a revolution. My partner flies also and has 11 kites from a jtm, to a cherry bomb, and his most recent addition is the Nexus 5 stack. I multi kite with two kites but the is really taking my attention at the minute. My partner and I were thinking about coming over to the festival and we considered taking our camper .. we just want to pick your brains .. 1) is the ferry the best way to travel to brighton and if so were woould we sail into and how far is this port from Brighton. 2) are there any campsites near the festival or any comfortable b & bs or hotels?? 3) how many days do you expect the festival to go on for and roughly what dates?? We are travelling from Tipperary in Ireland .. would really appreciate your help guys thanks a million! Sunshine Girl (susie)

1) is the ferry the best way to travel to Brighton and if so were would we sail into and how far is this port from Brighton.
Brighton in in the South East of England about 40 miles south of London, Nearest port from you is on the west coast so several hundred miles (mostly motorway) there are no ferries on the East cost direct from Ireland. Nearest airport is Gatwick about 35 miles. Busses and trains stop within yards of the venue.
2) are there any campsites near the festival or any comfortable b & bs or hotels??
There is a camp site near the festival (within 3 mile) there is also the possibility of camping on site, we have managed to do this in past years so hope to be able to do it again (for kite flyers only)
3) how many days do you expect the festival to go on for and roughly what dates??
The festival runs for 2 days (Sat & Sun) 10th and 11th July 2010
You are more than welcome to come along and join in the fun, and we would love to see you there if you need more information please feel free to contact me on chairman@brightonkiteflyers.co.uk
