Just to let you all Know I have just has an e-mail to say that Dover Kite festival is canceled. Simon, Just to let you know that Dover Town Council have not come up with the funding, despite their previous assurances that it would not be a problem. DTC have canceled the event. Malcolm Shame as it was an interesting event when we last went. Keep you informed if this changes.

With Dover being cancelled who is up for a weekend workshop along the lines of the one on the forum with the Flying Squad for quad line flying, and/or Close encounters for team flying could even have possibly a kite making workshop Let us have you feelings and if we get enough responce I will see if the Flying Squad or such will be able run one in the south east.

you can also count me in aswell on this onse, sounds like a good idea to me. Perhaps the Flying Squad can teach you how to fly a next to someone WITHOUT cutting them out of the sky?
