This slight Scot (or not?) (newbie to the forum? or not? ) sure can do with some southern hospitality...scones, ginger biscuits, bread pudding, scones and cookies to put some meat on him?

Hi folks, As last summer drew to a close and the wind just disappeared I just had to lay my hands on a light/low wind kite, I have drawn up some plans to build one (and will get around to it someday, honest.) but I needed a fix now! Mr Barclay said go forth and buy the Prism 3D you’ve had your eye on; he's good like that. I usually prefer high wind arm ripping kites, my HQ Beast has lots of fun dragging me around the park at Littlehampton The other week there was so much rain that a huge puddle (small lake) appeared in the middle of Goring Gap park. As it turned out it was also very wet and deep, its funny how the wind dropped just as I go to the middle……. So I purchased the 3D having flown my in light wind and found it hard work I was intrigued about the 3D’s claims of 0mph to 10mph. I gave it the acid test at Goring gap one evening sun going down and absolutely still. (As I stood there with the kite thinking what a plonker this is never going to fly, it took off and flew effortlessly, absolutely brilliant can't wait to fly it again. This delta might be mighty small against the HQ Beast but the fun is just as large, towards the end of its flight a very small breeze picked up and I had to land the 3D as I had it set to its lightest wind setting, so it thought the breeze was a hurricane. I’m not a BKF member yet but if the my HQ Beast blows me over that way I be sure to drop in (probable from about 3000 feet) doninthewit (intothewind)
