Greetings, It is a wise man who learns from his mistakes but an even wiser one that learns from the mistakes of others.
With this in mind I thought I should tell you how this weekend I booked a flight to Fuerteventura for this years kite festival , I booked with Thomas Cook flying from Stansted on the 4th of November at a cost of £239.00! The best deal I could find.
This morning a friend suggests I look on Easyjets website and there I learn that today they have launched a new route from (you’ve guessed) Stansted to Fuerteventura commencing 4th November!! The fare; £107.00 and you get more baggage and you can book it now! My Thomas Cook flight is non refundable.
It’s too late for me but if anyone else is planning to go to the Festival look on Easyjets website! I do know that it is also too late for Jamaicaman and Lynn as they too have booked (that makes me feel a little better) Best Regards Unwise Dick

Collin does that mean you are going air your difference and let it hangout with norfolk Dick, the gentleman with the lucky legs in the photo? luckythey don't break at the ankles I have no intention of ‘airing my difference’ abroad! Several reasons for this, one being ‘baggage allowance’.. I have a lot, and will have to pack it in tight just to get on the plane. Although I have a lot I do get embarrassed when I see others with more, especially the big stuff. Even my wife complains that I have ample already, why would I want more when I never get out what I have often enough as it is. So no, my ‘differences’ will stay unpacked, although I am looking forward to what the Lady flyers have to display.WE ARE TALKING KITES…..YES?

I tend to squash mine in a compression sack, it is about a third of the size when travelling.
When unleashed at the festival it inflates to it's normal size
Bouncing up and down on your sack can be awkward but I usually manage it
Hope this helps !
