Sumners Ponds second event this year is Friday July 3rd. to Monday 6th. All welcome as usual, weekend before 'The BIG One' so if you have nothing planned come on down and publicize the upcoming Festival. Height clearance is 500ft. so fly 'em high, get those kites noticed, and spread the word to them there public......

VERY, VERY quiet on here....everyone busy with upcoming Festival arrangements?

Possibility of a communal BBQ on Saturday (TBA) and for your 'delight and delectation' there is a rendition of Hamlet down at the amphitheater (near the site café) by the local school children on Friday and Saturday commencing at 7.30. Picnic and wine on the lawn, sounds very civilized to me!
Looking forward to seeing you all there, with FREE giveaways to all camping!?
PS. Martha? Martha? Who is dis Martha? Oh yes I remember now, a regular that mysteriously dropped out at the end of last year.  Looking forward to seeing you again, shame we wont ever be seeing your lovely lady having a strip-down wash outside the VW anymore!

Also this weekend we have the Barnes Green music festival on the village green Sunday 5th July look on the BGMF 2009 website for line up more information. its al happening at Barnes Green--Sumner ponds this weekend, the place to be,

What a fun filled weekend, thank you all for doing your bit….. ‘regulars’ as always good company and some new faces too! Danny supplied the industrial sized BBQ to cook on for the Saturday evening meal (thanks Dan) which was attended by all without exception! If it was dependent on ‘Sick note Sally’… you know, Spongebobs Mate….we would all have starved, he was bringing the BBQ, not phoning in sick! Hope you are feeling better Paul, see you at Brighton, maybe Sonia will kiss you better, might make it worse too.....your choice 
Pictures of the rendition of ‘Hamlet’ below, quite a crowd, many of whom will be coming to the Brighton kite festival next weekend! Sunshine, wind and a relaxed atmosphere got members requesting a longer event next time so Sumners Ponds ‘3’ will be Wednesday to Monday, details HERE
