Area of forum

There are 5 main areas of the forum and these split down in to sub areas

1. Forum rules and advice Usefull information on how the forum works and rules of use, this should be read by all people using the forum

2. General This area and areas within are open to be read by anyone wishing to view the forum and can only be posted to by registered users.
Within the general board there is:-

  • For sale and wanted:- this area is used to help locate buyer or sellers of wanted / unwanted items
  • General Board:- this area is for general chit chat about anything.
  • Diary Dates:- Kite events, camping trips that are open for anyone to attend are listed here.
  • Event images:- Area link in most cases to webshot or such with images of where we have been etc.

3. Club members area This area and areas within it are only visible to club members and can only be read and posted to by club members.
Within the club members board there are:-

  • Kite festivals:- full blown kite festival where club members are going or thinking of going
  • Kite displays:- event where we have been asked to go and fly kites to promote events, charities etc..
  • Members area:- an area where club members can talk to other members about whatever they want and keep it within the club
  • Non Kiting Event:- Events that are not related to kiting and only open to club members


4. Historic Open Forum This is split as the general forum it is set up at read only

5. Historic Members Area This is split as the live Members Areaforum it is set up at read only to club members only
